Positive thoughts…. Most employees are very pleasant and helpful..stores seem to have adequate lighting…supersample ladies are a highlight of my shopping trip.. they always display their merchandise well.. explain ingredients and easy ways to fix the items… they are always cheerful and friendly… in store #12… and Mrs. Emond is always helpful and full of ideas to cook or store items used…
Negative:… shopping carts thru abuse or whatever on the average do not function well.. wheels stick …won’t push well…merchandise left in the aisles in front of the shelves create a safety hazzard and causes carts to bump into them when the aisles are crowded… merchandise on top shelves are piled too high and the top shelves are to high to begin with for the elderly, short people and handicapped people to reach safely… sale merchandise of the same item is displayed in several sections of the store and is confusing… resets sometimes confuses the elderly as they are used to an item they normally shop for being there and with the resets they no longer are there or in another section of the store… there are carts of items to be reshopped left all over the store .. much of the time they are short of cashiers and baggers causing the few that are there to cover a larger area and customers are left to bag their own groceries or for the cashier to both scan the items and then bag them..
i was wondering how to get on your site to do a grocery list, and to look at your ads.
I would like to know who won the Holiday Recipe Contest, I see it has not been posted. I was just curious, please let me know if possible.

When will the New Store Open in Warwick, NY
BOO TO PRICECHOPPER! I used the coupon for USDA 1/8″ trim Choice Beef Loin Bottom Sirloin Steak ONLY .99 cents/lb, limit 2 at the Delhi store. The packages were TINY! so I did buy 3…(before work yesterday). Later I looked at the receipt~ Pricechopper gave me $1.00 off the !total! I did go back and complain…they said they were only allowing the coupon to be used on the purchase of 1 package of steak. They gave me an extra 63 cents… coupon says limit 2.
BOO! wasn’t worth the trip back to the store!
I was wondering who is in charge of all the Price Chopper Facilities
Thank you,
Kevin R. O’Leary

Just had to write to let you know about the experience I have every morning at Price Chopper #181, Troy NY 12180…I get bagels for work each day and the man who works around 6AM needs to be acknowledge..I don’t know his name, he has curly brown hair and he is always pleasant and has a smile and willing to assist in anyway needed…he makes my visit pleasant which will surely make me come everyday…If you could share this with him I would greatly appreciate it…more employees like him will truly make customers come back.
We’re glad to hear that you have a pleasant experience when you stop into the store each morning! We’ll be sure to share your comment with our store. Thank you and have a great day!

I was just in the price chopper in Windsor,Vt for a loaf of bread. I found what I wanted, the unit price was $199 per lb. which the loaf was a lb the suggested price was $199,but i was charged $249. Should this loaf been $199? If not, it should have been marked $249.
Hi Ann,
We’ll need to know specifically which bread you’re referring to, and then we can investigate. Please feel free to reach out to us at 1-800-666-7667. Thanks!
The bread is Bimbo 100% Whole Wheat 1lb loaf
Ann, One of our customer service representatives will be reaching out to you via email about this issue. Thank you.
thany you for taking the time to look into this matter for me.
I was wandering when is Boar Head products going to be in the Norwich store #161. I keep asking but no one knows anything.
Hi Kathy, Our Boar’s Head program is rolled out on a store by store basis and unfortunately Norwich is not in the plan to roll out in the immediate future. Our deli department has received your request and we encourage you to keep in touch with us about when we can bring this program to Norwich. Thanks for asking!
I was told that it should be this year. How sad. Do you know of any stores near my area that is selling Boars Head deli meats?? I’m willing to travel in order to purchase.. Boars head is the best!!
Thanks
Hi Kathy, Our Oneonta store carries Boar’s Head which would probably be the closest one to Norwich.
Is it true that Price Chopper accepts old eyeglasses? I usually shop at the Upper Glen Street (Queensbury, NY) store – does that particular location accept them?
Hi Kathy, Our Glen Street store does have a Lion’s Club donation box set up for donating eyeglasses. Thanks!
I shop at the Price Chopper in Bennington, Vermont, (or I should say I used to) I assume your stores have a policy against bringing animals(Dogs) into your store (with the exception of service dogs of course). So why is it that almost every time I go into that store I am guaranteed to see someone with those little rat sized dogs sitting in the seat portion of the shopping carts??? Seriously? It’s disgusting, they sit in those carts, slobbering all over the handles and cart, and only who knows what is on their feet…. they could have fleas, parasites, ticks or who knows what….
People use those seats to put their CHILDREN and their GROCERIES in…. It’s a health hazard. Just because the thing is small enough to fit in the cart or in their arms doesn’t mean it should be in the store where I am buying groceries that my family will eat!
Needless to say, after seeing a woman with a dog in one of your carts this week in the darn produce section of all places I put my groceries down and left. Went and bought everything I needed at Hannaford down the road instead. I refuse to spend a nickel in a store that allows dogs in it like that.
Service dogs are different, they are doing their job, assisting their people, they are properly trained, vetted, clean and know how to behave in crowds. Service dogs are trained to behave, and are up to date on shots and stuff. Who knows if those other animals have even been to the vet…
Hi Dani, We’re sorry about the experience you had in our Bennington store. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. One of our representatives will reach out to you through email and we will address this issue with our store team.
I got an email from Price Chopper and it just proves to me that people don’t even read what you write. Apparently reading comprehension isn’t a strong suit at the Golub Corporation.
The dogs in the cart were NOT SERVICE DOGS. They were little rat dogs, peoples PETS. I know the difference between a service dog and a pet.
I’m just gonna shop at Hannaford. There store is clean, there staff are polite. and dogs don’t run rampant through the store.
Hi Dani, Unfortunately, although they may in fact be pets, if the customer tells us that they are service animals we are not allowed by law to ask any further questions or ask for proof because we would be in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. However, as we previously explained, we do not have to allow them to ride in the shopping carts and our stores should not be permitting this to happen. We have addressed this with the Bennington store manager.
Well, went into your price chopper in Bennington Vermont store again today because I was with my mom and she wanted to go there and guess what I saw? Another little miniature doberman in the bottom half of the larger shopping carts, no harness, no leash, climbing all over the basket and the groceries in it.
Thanks for taking care of this issue…… NOT.
I haven’t seen a service dog small enough to fit into the seat of the cart. Second if its a dog in training, the trainers will often enough ask you not to pet the dog. Another tip off is service dogs are almost always wearing a harness. They are always on a lease.
These are a few tips.
Whom can I contact about getting Girl Scouts involved with Price Chopper’s Home Grown Fourth of July celebration at the Empire State Plaza?
Hi Colleen, Thanks for your comment. We will follow up with you through email.
